The Washington DC Service Request Center (SRC) is designed to make it easy to submit requests online (i.e., pot-hole repairs, trash pick-up, report a broken traffic signal). Residents receive a tracking number for every completed request and then can check back at any time to see when a DC government agency expects to investigate or take care of the problem. SRC is a service built by the District of Columbia Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO). The new request center went live in October 2004. The next time you see something that needs attention in your neighborhood use the SRC.
